Fast Feet FestGlasgow’s Balboa & Collegiate Shag Festival

Presented each year by Glasgow Lindyhoppers and Glasgow Balboa — a full weekend of high-energy classes, inspiring international teachers, live music and brilliant social dancing across historic Glasgow venues.

Two days of classes in two streams, Balboa and Collegiate Shag, taught at two levels with tasters open to everyone — wrapped around three social dances across the West End and the city centre. Dates for the next festival are announced here and on our social media.

Typically around a year of regular classes, plus some workshop experience.

Adventurer

You are in love with this dance and feel confident at higher tempos.

Two years or more, comfortable with musicality, styling and improvising with a partner.

Not sure which fits? Ask us — we would far rather help you land in the right room than have you guess.
